- Eat vegetarian food if possible try organic food
If you love to eat fish or meat prefer it free from any chemically preserved, hormone free or antibiotic free. Give first choice to fresh vegetables and fruits as they are full of nutrients, fibres and proteins. Avoid processed or preserved foods if possible. Choose healthy options
- Make your Home a Healthy Place.
Say no- no to cheesy, junk food as they are not nutrient packed. Once in a while is ok but daily platter- stay away
- Develop a Support System.
Have those people in your circle with whom you can discuss about your healthy food choices and they will help you to set the healthy eating goals and encourage you for same.
- Be Active at least 30 Minutes a Day, Seven Days a Week.
Make schedule of exercise. Start doing at least 30 mins exercise daily. Increase it slowly.
- Create S.M.A.R.T. Goals
Make realistic S.M.A.R.T. goals and stick with them. So that you can easily follow them. Try to innovate them timely so that it will add fun with them and you will enjoy it.
